Bath & Beauty Report | November

November 15, 2018

After a wacky and wild few days last week, I am so happy to be sitting down with you back on the blog today. I promised a recent Target haul post, but due to some technical difficulties, that post is still in the draft phases- but it will be posted ASAP!

For this week's post, I put together another Bath and Beauty Report with some products I've picked up recently. You already know how much I love the color pink, and the products I'm featuring are all shades of pink that are appropriate for fall. The blush and hot pinks of spring/summer turn into nude and mauve pinks come fall/winter and I'm absolutely LOVING it.

SHADE: RULER (80)
The SuperStay Matte Ink by Maybelline is some serious. stuff. This lip color will literally last me all day. I usually don't even have to reapply it after a meal. Initially, I was a little afraid of this lipstick because I couldn't get it off. But I found a makeup remover that takes care of it when needed, so now I can wear it without worry. "Ruler" is the most recent shade I added to my collection because I thought it was the perfect fall color mix of red and pink. It's a deep nude pink with a hint of red that really makes it a unique shade for the season. It's a bold nude that I personally think you would love added into your makeup routine.

SHADE: BLUSHED AVENUE (510)
I've always been a fan of Maybelline's eyeshadow palettes, especially the Nudes collection. But in all honesty, I never gave much attention to the City Mini Palettes because they seemed a little too glitzy for my own personal makeup style. But during a recent makeup trip to Walgreens, I spotted the Blushed Avenue palette and fell in love with the colors for fall. There are two shimmer shadows and four matte shadows. The palette is a mix of mauves, browns and one deep plum shade. I especially like the mauve shades and have been playing around with them in my makeup routine quite a bit. Compared to my other Maybelline palettes, the shadow is very powdery in this one, so a little goes a long way. If you want a small, simple palette for fall, this is it.

SHADE: DRIVE-IN & DINE (274)
I'm always on the lookout for Essie shades that catch my eye. Drive-in & Dine is a deep purple shade that is dark enough to be a fall/winter polish, but still a fun pop of color to put you in a good mood on those dreary, cold days that are in our near future. I feel like it is one of those shades you just can't get tired of.

SHADE: YOUNG, WILD & ME (1512)
Next up in my recent Essie haul is the shade Young, Wild & Me. My nail polish collection consists of mostly nude colors like this one, but this particular color has the slightest pink hue. I can't wait to get this on my nails because it's so simple and feminine. It is a color that will really match with anything.

SHADE: ANGORA CARDI (336)
Finally, I spotted Essie's Angora Cardi polish on Instagram and had to have it! Although still in the nude family, this shade has a hint of purple in it that makes it stand out. It's a very soft color that reminds me of wearing a cozy sweater with a chai latte in hand. If Drive-in & Dine is too dark of a polish for your personal taste, Angora Cardi is its relaxed-nude better half.
