Gift Guide | Winter Lovers

December 14, 2018

In all seriousness, I love all of the cozy aspects about winter. Don't get me wrong, I'm ready for it to hit the road come February, but for now, especially during the holidays, things like snow, mittens, cozy blankets and hot chocolate get me excited.

For this week's gift guide, I rounded up some items that will make perfect gifts for the winter lovers in your life. If they have snow in their veins and a forever cozy heart, these ideas were made for them.

Alex and Ani bracelets always make a great gift. The Star Flower charm is a symbol that all of the season is worth celebrating. Its snowflake-inspired design is detailed, yet speaks  a simple statement that winter is special.

I literally just purchased this coat from Old Navy and it is the BEST. It features a very trendy utility style that is lined with cozy sherpa. It has a hood, deep pockets and a zipper/snap combo up the front. This is the warmest coat; the person you gift it to will love you FOREVER.

Are you a mitten person or a glove person? I personally prefer mittens because they're the coziest winter accessory. These rib-knit mittens from Old Navy come in multiple colors and will keep hands warm for fun activities like ice skating or building a snowman.

Whether you like winter or not, we all need a good pair of snow boots when living in a colder climate. I picked up these Sorel Out N About Booties at Dick's Sporting Goods on sale for $70! They feel like you're wearing a slipper, but have a solid bottom for the snow. I really recommend these, especially if your gift budget is a little higher.

A candle that smells like woolen mittens? What's more wintery than that? A winter-scented candle can instantly turn a room into something peaceful. This particular scent is from Target.

I love Old Navy's graphic sweatshirts; they are fleece-lined to keep you warm. This black one with silver glitter stars is the perfect piece to lounge in. It matches the bright stars in the clear skies during the winter season. Your friends will want to snuggle up in it immediately.

I recently picked this scarf up in multiple colors. It's made of super soft flannel for those chilly outdoor days. Found at the J. Crew Factory store, this scarf is budget-friendly AND pretty. Unlike a bulky blanket scarf, these can be wrapped around your neck easily.

A go-to pair of lounging joggers is a winter staple. This plush pair from Old Navy is unbelievably soft; I wish I could wear them all the time. Whoever gets this gift may never take them off. Pair them with a cup of hot cocoa and a Netflix marathon.

Speaking of hot cocoa, how fun is the Nostalgia Retro Hot Chocolate Maker from Macy's?! As something unique to add to your kitchen during the winter months, this will be a real crowd pleasing gift. Add a pair of cute mugs and you have the perfect present.

Also from the J. Crew Factory store, these adorable knit hats come with a little pom-pom on top. They also come in a few different color options. Winter people love their winter hats; it's a gift that you just can't go wrong with.

The only way to truly survive winter is with a trusty, cozy blanket. Curl up under this cable knit one from Target and sit by the fire with a good book. Sounds like the perfect weekend plan to me.
