What's in my shopping bag? (New series) | March

3/30/2017

Hey fashion gang!

It's almost time to close out March, which means we're one step closer to real spring weather; WAHOO!

April showers are on their way, but who doesn't mind breaking out the Hunter wellies?! I know I don't.

Today on the blog, I'm starting a brand new series called "what's in my shopping bag?" At the end of each month, I will round up a few of my purchases bought within the month that I'm obsessing over! I'm going to try my best to include items that can currently be purchased in stores, but I'm sure I will throw in a thrift or resale find from time to time to get you inspired.

So, without any further delay, let's check out my shopping bag picks for March!

MERONA KONA BACKLESS MULE LOAFERS

Alright, I'm ALL ABOUT these mules. They are the perfect dupes to the very popular Gucci style, except these are less than $25! I had to get my hands on a pair! I've been wearing them nonstop because of their classy style and comfortability. You can shop them at Target online right now, but you'll want to grab a pair fast before they fly off the shelves!

BELLE + SKY BOMBER JACKET

I wasn't ready to say farewell to bomber jackets with spring's arrival, but I found this style at JCPenney that compliments the spring season! The sage and white colors, birds with florals graphics and lightweight material all support this claim. And if you're lucky, you can snag this jacket for $30 or less. It's so chic and easy to create an outfit around! I recently wore it as my #ootd. Check it out:

OLD NAVY RELAXED CREW-NECK POCKET TEE

HOLY GUACAMOLE! This tee was a must-have. As you may already know, I am a sucker for a good graphic tee, and I've been looking for something with avocados on it! This was less than $15 at Old Navy and just oh so adorable. I have a feeling these won't last long, so think fast and get your shop on! OLÉ!

MAYBELLINE INTI-MATTE NUDES LIPSTICK IN ALMOND ROSE

This shade is the perfect everyday go-to product. I love experimenting with different lipstick shades, but I'll always come back to my tried and true nudes. 'Almond Rose' is such a natural red/pink shade that will compliment any skin tone. If you're looking for a simple lippie that's also less than $6, you'll want to give this a test drive.
