Hi fashionistas!
I took last week off on the blog because I was feeling overwhelmed and behind! I was working on multiple projects at one time and also needed to pack for my trip to Nashville. Sorry we didn't get to have our weekly chat; but I'm back this week with a little life lately post to fill you in on what's new:
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATING
As you might have already read, I turned 24 at the end of May. I had a great weekend celebrating despite the fact that I was feeling so many different emotions from just arriving back from Disney. I danced my butt off at Boy Band Night with my best girlfriend, enjoyed lunch at my favorite tea room and some shopping with my mom and I went to the mall and got margaritas with my family. I wasn't quite ready for the big 2-4 at first, but I decided it's going to be TOTALLY AWESOME! It already is so far! I'm grateful to everyone who helped me celebrate my special day.
FAIRY GODMOTHER STATUS
My brother and sister-in-law asked me to be my niece's godmother and of course I said YES! Being Penelope's aunt has been the greatest blessing, so I'm excited to take on the role of (fairy) godmother next month when she is baptized. That little lady has my whole heart.
NASHVILLE GIRLS TRIP
If you keep up with me on Instagram, you probably noticed I was in Nashville for a few days! I took a little girls trip with one of my best friend's from college. She visited multiple times before, so she was the perfect tour guide! I don't want to get into all the details because I will be writing a separate blog post about it all later this month, but I can tell you that we had quite the adventure! Looking forward to sharing it on here.
NEW BOUTIQUE ITEMS
I've been cleaning out my closet BIG TIME because I'm just so over the clutter. I purged tons of barely worn shoes, shorts, tops and dresses and everything is now for sale at the boutique! I brought in so many new items and updated all my inventory, so if you're looking for something to do on a hot summer weekend, come shop my closet!
LMDC TOUR
At the beginning of this week after my trip to Nashville, I turned right back around and headed to Indianapolis for the LMDC tour- as in the LEA MICHELE AND DARREN CRISS TOUR! If you've followed me long enough, you might already know that Lea Michele is like my favorite. person. ever. I've been dying to see her live for the longest time, and when the tour was announced, I knew the three hour drive to Indy would be a piece of cake- I HAD to go! I purchased VIP meet and greet tickets, which is the first time I've done anything like that (and most likely the last, lol!) I met her before the show for a photo opportunity and got some exclusive merch before we went to our FRONT ROW seats! The entire experience was a dream come true- I'm still pinching myself! I brought my number one lady (MOM!) with so we could fangirl and share the special moment together. Lea is just as amazing live as she is on my iPod. Still not over it- sorry not sorry!
CURRENTLY WATCHING/LISTENING
I usually like to write about something I'm reading or watching, but I honestly haven't had the time for either! I just started season two of 13 Reasons Why yesterday so I don't even feel equipped to talk about it yet. I have been listening to a lot of music though, so what I can recommend is checking out the song releases on Dan + Shay's new album (it's titled Dan + Shay.) The full album won't be released until June 22, but the four songs that are already released are amazing. I've had them all on repeat and can't wait to hear the whole album.
CURRENTLY BUYING

I'm planning to catch up on a lot this weekend after what's been a very busy month! Although I've been having the time of my life, I am looking forward to taking it slow and recharging for a bit.
