Thrifted Finds | January

January 25, 2018

Happy Thursday, fashion fam!

I've been back in the thrifting game these days, so today I'm sharing a few of my January finds on the blog.

MADEWELL BLACK FAUX SHEARLING VEST
I hit the Madewell jackpot during my last visit to Goodwill, finding a blouse, flannel shirt and this vest. Sherpa is so HAWT right now, and I've actually been on the hunt for a black vest. I immediately picked this out from a rack of coats and did a little happy dance. It's very soft and not too bulky so I can get away with wearing it as part of my outfit. I could see myself pairing this with a flannel button up, dark denim jeans and ankle boots.

Paid: $5.99

A NEW DAY GEMMA POINTED TOE PUMPS
These floral embroidered heels (originally from Target) are a fun take on a classic style. The pointed toe pump has made a comeback within the last couple years. Even though there are SO many options, I have a hard time finding pairs that don't squish my feet. When I tried on this brand new pair at Goodwill, they were instantly comfortable. I could talk more about these pretties, but I actually have a blog post in the works featuring an outfit with these shoes, so I'll save it for later!

Paid: $4.99

COACH BLACK LEATHER HANDBAG

This bag had me in full blown shock when I found it. Not only is it EXTRA cute, but it was only $30- say wha?! I found it hiding in the racks at Clothes Mentor. The black leather is incredibly soft and the "weaved" design gives it an edgy look. It is the perfect size to use as an everyday bag; it holds everything you could need PLUS it has two outer pockets. When I brought the purse home, my mom took it to use right away, so I can't wait to try it out for myself!

Paid: $30

KATE SPADE HUDSON WATCH

The Kate Spade watch was calling my name at Our Home To Yours consignment shop in Morris, Ill. Although I'm not super picky when it comes to watches, I prefer a watch that is the perfect face size for my wrist. This silver Hudson timepiece is just that- fitting my wrist perfectly and making me feel super sophisticated. The price was obviously a mega-steal; all I had to do was get a new battery. I will be wearing this on REPEAT!

Paid: $35

*****

I'm happy to be back hunting at the thrift stores this year, and so far, I've had some pretty good luck! Between thrift stores, resale shops and clearance racks, the deals are plentiful as we begin heading into spring. What deals have you found lately?

Count me in,
