The good ole Target haul

November 19, 2015

Hello everyone!

Sometimes I feel like there is nothing better than a good old-fashioned trip to Target. Even though I usually get myself into some trouble in my wallet, walking through Target has a way of relaxing and distressing my brain.

Floating down the bright white aisles is similar to floating on a cloud, so I get easily convinced that I am in fashion, beauty and home goods heaven. But wait, now I am just being overdramatic..

The problem with Target is there's just too many cute things. Every time I pay that bright red bullseye a visit, I get wrapped up in some tough decisions of deciding what I reeeeally need versus what I just think I can't live without.

Well, it's okay to treat yourself once in a while. In the past month, I've found a few different things I loved at Target that I eventually went back to purchase once they were on sale, clearance, etc. You know me, I am always looking for a deal!

So here's a breakdown of my most recent Target haul:

Mossimo Supply Co. Cheetah print Pullover Sweater

This sweater caught my eye about a month ago, and I knew it would be perfect for the fall/winter. I really love a good pullover sweater because they are very comfortable. The simplicity allows this piece to be dressed up or down very easily.

Leopard print is forever a neutral to me- I can literally pair this pattern with ANYTHING! This sweater will look awesome paired with a down vest and jeans, or I can switch it up and match it with a midi skirt, tights and a sparkly statement necklace.

Price: $19.99

I did have a $5 off mailer coupon, and that gave me a decent discount, but I knew I would be wearing this a lot, so I didn't mind spending a little more.

A+ Aldo Ankle Boots

Okay, these boots are SUPER out of the box for me. I normally would steer clear of anything with a pointed toe, but these heeled beauties caught my attention. I tried them on just for fun and ended up loving how they looked.

They are surprisingly very comfortable and I love the crisp chestnut color of the leather. I already know that I will be including these booties in an outfit paired with my Old Navy plaid open-front poncho I featured in my Old Navy haul post. SO CUTE! VERY FALL!

Price: $13.48

Naturally, I was gravitated toward these shoes because they were on clearance. And not just any AWESOME clearance! These babies were originally $45! I snagged a great deal!

Although I cannot find these on the Target website, they have this pair and a few other A+ by Aldo booties on clearance in-store, so I recommend paying the shoe section a visit!

Merona Faux Fur Scarf

This is another item that is a little out of the box for me, but faux fur is such a huge trend right now. I see it incorporated so often in vests, but the fur scarf is a really fun accessory!

I was hoping this scarf didn't make me look like a lion, but luckily, it isn't too bulky and blends well with most tops. It's a bold accessory statement that will definitely turn heads. I plan to pair this with a cute plaid button up or even a cardigan.

Price: $19.99

This scarf is originally $24.99, but I waited for an accessory sale to go purchase it. I also used that $5 off coupon I mentioned before in the transaction too, so every little deal counts!

Merona Mini Dome Satchel Handbag

I had my eye on this fun little bag for months! I originally spotted it in a magazine that was previewing fall fashion. I wanted it so bad, but I wasn't ready to spend $26.99 on a crossbody that I couldn't use as my everyday handbag because of the small size.

The simple black and white striped plaid is what I am ALL about this season. I gravitate toward anything carrying this pattern because I think it is just so classy. And the dome handbag is an awesome style in general, but this petite bag is a fun twist on it.

I've already paired this baby with some outfits, and it's definitely an attention stealer.

Forever 21 Sweatshirt, Levi's Jeans, Charlotte Russe Scarf, Target Merona Handbag, Sam Edelman Boots

Price: $13.48

I also found this on an awesome clearance! I definitely did not see that coming- I kinda gave up on this piece a long time ago. But I came across it last week by the clearance section for accessories and jumped for joy! It's an item I am proud to add to my wardrobe, especially for the price!

There you have it! A full round-up of my most recent Target purchases and deals!

Target has some really awesome things in store right now, and I'm sure with the holiday season quickly approaching, more fun stuff will keep getting added. And HERE'S A BIG HINT! All clothes and accessories will be 40% off both online and in-store on Black Friday! Here's two things I am already set to purchase:

Mossimo Supply Co. Faux Sherpa Vest

Price: $34.99

I tried this vest on in store and was seriously in love. It's so soft and cozy and PERFECT for winter. It will only be $21 on Black Friday, so this is a purchase I need to make for sure.

ANOTHER Merona Faux Fur Scarf ;)

Price: $24.99

I love the faux fur scarf I showed you earlier, so I want to purchase it in another color. This soft grey and brown one is so cute, and at $15 on Black Friday, it's a big deal that I will be considering putting in my online shopping cart.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Soon it will be time to talk about great gifts and great holiday outfits!

For now, you can pay Target a visit and maybe find a great deal to wear for Thanksgiving like I did!

Happy hunting!!
